Point-of-View managed the planning, design, fabrication and installation of an interior and exterior exhibit at the Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Centre, an internationally renowned site for Cambrian trilobite fossils.
The exhibit follows a storyline developed by the centre providing an introduction to what visitors can learn by walking along riverside trails and including an audio tour. Mystus arranged for all the original video, and the audio recordings for the audio tour and for the stories told by people with historical family connections with the river.
This project involved design planning to determine how to best realise the goals of the exhibit and Mystus was also responsible for determining and procuring required materials and technologies and as well as fabrication and installation of the exhibits.
A key objective of the project was to create a connection between the inside and outside experience. The exhibit included many specimens provided by Manuels River, and the design process involved multiple interactions between Mystus and all parties involved in the project.
