The visitor learns about how an archaeologist works and then is given the opportunity to follow an artifact from its discovery until it is placed on display in a museum. There is also a section where the visitor can explore the Lawson site next to the museum and learn about the village that existed there approx. 1500 AD. Using text, photos and artworks you are able to learn about the history of the site and the lives of the Iroquois who inhabited it. This exhibit also allows the user to visit the museum\u2019s back room. Through photographs, audio and text this unique approach allows the visitor to discover items that are currently not on display in the main museum.<\/p>\n
Mystus also created several custom audio files to accompany a diorama of the Lawson Village.
